Will Pattaya Immigration Care About the Date Discrepancy on My TM30?

May 16, 2025
I’m prepping for my first report coming up soon and realize my TM30 is dated from when I came into Thailand to rent my condo and not when I re-entered after activating my DTV.

Will Pattaya immigration care about the date discrepancy or should I ask my landlord for a new one?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about a possible discrepancy in the date of their TM30 registration and whether Pattaya immigration will enforce strict regulations regarding this; experiences shared in the comments indicate mixed responses from different immigration offices regarding the necessity of updating the TM30 after re-entering Thailand.

I had the same situation for an extension. I had to do the new TM30 first, had to pay a pretty solid fine (1600THB or smth like that for 2month overdue) and after that I was allowed to do the extension. Not exactly the same, but the officer were pretty strict in Jomtien.

understood. I’ll just update my TM30. Is that all I need? TM30 and my passport? I live in Jomtien

In Jomtien my TM30 was competed when I first moved into the condo. I travelled in and out of Thailand and did not update the TM30. In fact when I went to update it they sent me away. I did the 90 Day reports OK with original TM30.

in other groups and on Reddit, I see some had to update, but were also late on reporting and had to pay a fine

Anonymous participant Which Immigration Office? I never had any issues nkt re-reporting TM30 on Jomtien after overseas travel and return tti same address. I completed three 90 Day reports after travel Somgkran 2024 and no issue plus an extension. In Chiang Mai TM30 must be rereported after travel. I just got back from Vietnam and my agent did it. She will have to do it again next week after UK visit. Some offices insist and others do not. I can only go with my personal experience in Jomtien and Chiang Mai. In Bangkok for 4 years the TM30 was never ever reported and no issues at all. That was BOI though.
