Should I be worried about being stopped at immigration in Thailand after frequent visits?

Hi, I have been travelling to Thailand for over 10 years on multi entry tourist visas and staying about 4-5 months doing border runs to Cambodia.

I’ve never overstayed or abused the system.

I arrived at bkk on September 2018 hoping for visa on arrival as I was only planning on staying for 30 days ,

when I produced my passport at immigration the lady officer told me “you come too many times “and called another officer over who took me to a desk and ask why I was here which I relied politely I’m here for a holiday..

It was brief but he basically said you come too many times.. stamped my passport for 30 days and said go.

I have got a single entry tourist visa last week and will arrive in bkk next month .

My question is should I be worried about getting stopped again ??

Will I be refused?

I have been home in Ireland working since January this year.

Thank you in advance, any comments welcome 🙏
