Will my old passport information on vaccine documents affect my travel to Thailand?

I had my COVID shots, but recently had to renew my passport. My Thai vaccine document, as well as my yellow vaccine booklet both have my old passport number in it. I will be carrying my old passport with me when travelling.

Should everything be fine? Anyone have experience with this? What about applying for an Evisa, for example?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the implications of having old passport numbers on their Thai vaccination documents after renewing their passport. Comments suggest that vaccination status is not relevant to visa applications, and issues with matching passport numbers can likely be addressed by contacting the Thailand Pass support. It's recommended to carry both old and new passports and verify with official sources about uploading the documents.

Yes , everything saved on the bio database. Everything time they take a photo information has been processed on Thai database

Why not email and ask? There is a contact email on the Thailand Pass site. I would think you could upload your documents including one indicated "old passport", one "current passport" perhaps...or you could try with just using new passport info and see if it's approved.

Good idea. Didn't know you could contact Thailand Pass.

Vaccination is irrelevant for visa applications, so don’t worry about that. As for the yellow booklet, mine (Dutch) doesn’t even have a passport number, I can’t imagine it’s a big deal. For the ThailandPass you need to upload a photo of the page with the vaccine stamps, dates, nothing else

I don't know about other countries, but the Thai yellow vaccine booklet has your passport number on the top, and also inside.

For Thailand Pass, the page from Thai hospitals with vaccine QR codes and info has your passport number on it.

Did you travel with a new passport, with vaccine documents that have an old passport number? I really need to know from someone who has done this, since it could cost me a lot.

If having no passport info on them, I don’t suspect having old passport info on them should be a problem, especially when carrying the corresponding (old) passport with you

I'll be carrying my old passport, but can't do so for Thailand Pass, or anything like that. I appreciate the effort, but I can't travel internationally based on someone thinking it will probably work. Could be stuck in the middle of nowhere and be deported back to my home country if refused entry.

if they approve your thaipass, and you are carrying your old passport, I see no reason why you should experience any problems?

That's not the issue. It's that my passport, when applying for the Thailand Pass, is new, but my vaccine booklet has my old passport number. So I don't know if this will cause issues with getting the Thailand Pass in the first place.

just apply for the thai pass early. Or get a new vaccine booklet. Or upload both passports when applying for the thai pass. Worst case just take picture of both passports. But this might make it skip automatic approval. Så apply in good time

my vaccine documents don’t have any passport number in them, was no trouble traveling to TH, within TH or when I was leaving TH. I have recently applied for an e-visa and ThailandPass and was approved for both, again without any passport info on the vaccination document

I understand. But my documents have my old passport number on them.
