TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the implications for their friend who was denied entry into Thailand in November 2025 and whether immigration authorities in neighboring countries would inquire about this denial. The responses clarify that Thai immigration does not share systems with other countries, but a denial can be reflected in the passport. There are differing opinions on whether entry will be denied again if the friend attempts to re-enter Thailand, with some suggesting that previous denials may cause further complications.

The system can not be 'gamed' anymore. Especially in cases of multiple visa exempt entries. So many of these posts are just the surface info of a situation. I mean no offense, but it does seem as though some of them are just seeking support that suits their personal narrative, "I didn't know!", or "But Ive lived here for years!". I get it. I worked those loopholes for as long as I could too, but then got honest on work permit. The game is over people. Legitimate tourist? No worries. If youre not, get the proper visa. What's more is as foreigners we need to be more mindful of our travel attire, body language and vocal tones with officers at any checkpoint be land or airport, because even some valid visa holders are being denied entry based not only on passport stamps but also behavior.

Use a safe entry service. It can facilitate entry even if you have previously been denied once.

Safe entry service, or so-called pre-scan, is a service offered by certain agents. Your entry history is reviewed in advance, and a guarantee of entry is provided. You will be met at a designated meeting point and escorted through immigration. It’s offered at both Bangkok airports.

If your friend was denied entry last month trying to enter from a nearby country is likely to end up with the same result. Thai immigration systems are all linked

How many time did your friend enter Thailand in 2025? Did s/he exempt from a visa and extend staying by visa run?

Thai Immigration offices in different cities don't even share the same systems.

I am talking more as an ex-pat where despite having every detail on the Central Data system, I am required to provide the same data three times a year much of which has not varied in TWO DECADES! Different offices in different cities will ask for different data and/or permit different things.

they all share the same collection of entry data of every traveller. It is called "Central Computer of Thai Immigration", and whenever an Immigration officers scans your passport, your profile will pop up, with EVERY entry and every extension recorded. And if you have been warned, overstayed or denied entry, it is definitely recorded in your profile. EVERY Immigration officer in the country can see it

Immigration doesn't share systems with other countries, but you normally get a stamp in your passport if you're denied entry that anyone can see
