TLDR : Answer Summary
The user previously spent 180 days in Thailand and was denied entry upon trying to enter Phuket. They are concerned about potential issues when re-entering Thailand by land in January, especially related to immigration rules and past entry denial. Commenters suggest obtaining a proper visa, as previous denial is likely recorded and could affect future entries.
ah, ok. This was the most important for me. Thank you.

Nobody can answer this question other than the immigration officer you will stand in front of, but the fact you were denied entry is likely recorded on the immigration database. It sounds like time to get a proper visa for the reason you spend so much time in Thailand

Move on to Vietnam π»π³, itβs way cheaper to stay in there .

Which is their right if they believe you are abusing the system somehow..

Did you overstay your visa or visa exemption in the past ?
That was no doubt noted on your passport records with immigration and enough for the immigration officer to take a closer look at your travel history and become suspicious you are not a genuine tourist.
One small mistake is all it takes..
I think your only option is to apply for a tourist visa before you try entering again..
If you cannot get one then consider Phnom Penh Cambodia as that's an interesting place to visit and long term visa are easier to get if you have money..
because after 6-9 months you are not looking as tourist. So any officer can ask why you enter again without visa and deny. Only protected entries under borderruns and green corridors will be safe with extended living in Thailand under visa exemptions. Because visa exemption is for short trips, not years π
I showed them my balance, they realised I dont have to working in Thailand. Bro, why would I working in TH, when I could work legaly in EU? In Thailand, salary about 3-400 Eur, in EU 1300 :D
So what you are really saying you can stay as long as you like by using border runs for a long period of time but you trap yourself in Thailand because if you leave for any period of time there is a chance you will be refused entry if you try to return?
Doesn't sound very smart way to do things and as already pointed out also quite expensive.
I love travelling. I'm on a non-O but haven't filed a 90-day report since covid ended. I just love paying 1900 baht per year and don't have to be continually counting days.
check with your embassy/consulate. If you want to play games with immigration, it's totally up to you. Many countries get 60 days + 30. You could leave, and enter again for a further 60+30.....if Immigration officer will allow that
well, if immigration have already flagged you, it will be totally up to the immigration officer, at point of entry, whether to let you in or not. Most probably, your name is down in the system already....good luck
no, your entry history does not reset because it is a new calendar year. As someone mentioned already, you are most likely "flagged" in their system as being warned and denied entry and you are likely to be denied one more time if you try after just 2 weeks.
