What materials do I need to submit for a Thailand DTV workcation visa application from Hanoi?

📍 Location: Hanoi

🗓 Submission date: 20 Sep

📑 Materials requested: 22 Sep

✅ Approval date: 26 Sep

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my experience applying from Hanoi (I’m Australian, DTV workcation).

What I submitted:

• Cover letter

• Company recommendation letter confirming I work remotely from Thailand, won’t seek local employment, and that my income comes from Australia

• Company registration with ABN

Funds evidence:

• 6 months of bank statements

• 2 payslips (Aug & Sep)

Location material:

• Vietnam entry stamp

• Flight ticket ( in and out)

• Hanoi accommodation confirmation

• Photo of me with my passport & hotel room card in front of my Hanoi hotel

They later requested a closer photo of my Vietnam entry stamp (on Monday). That’s it!

I’ve learnt so much from this group that I was able to handle everything myself without using an agent. If you’ve got any questions, feel free to ask, I’m more than happy to give back and help where I can.

Good luck to everyone! 🍀
