TLDR : Answer Summary
The APEC card and DTV visa can be used simultaneously in Thailand. Travelers can utilize the APEC card for fast track processing and should only present the DTV visa to immigration for stamping. The APEC visa will not overwrite the DTV visa, and it is advisable not to show both documents together to avoid confusion at immigration.
no, it won't be overwritten at all. I hold an APEC card and used an ED-visa before.
show the card to security staff to use the fast track but don't show to the IMO. if they see your card and DTV along they will be confused about which visa you are going to use.
have you tried using the APEC card to entry Thailand and stamp with the DTV? I'll be arriving Thailand next month, unsure the current policy if im allowed to use the fast track to enter.
Anonymous participant To add, the officer at entrance to the fast track only checks on your eligibility to utilise the fast track, such as elite visa, paid fast track services etc. The officer at the counter will not bother how you enter the fast track lane. At least for me.
Anonymous participant actually yes. If the CARD is only checked by the fast-track queue 'cops', then you should be fine. Immigration doesn't need to know why you are in the fast lane.
