Hi all is it correct that if I sign up for and participate in the appropriate approved course for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible for the DTV visa are there any future obligations to do courses or remote work or is the 5 year visa then in place regardless?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa requires participation in an approved course for a minimum of 6 months. Once the visa is issued, there are no ongoing obligations to enroll in courses or engage in remote work, as long as you do not attempt to extend the visa while remaining in the country.

Once the DTV is issued there is no requirement to attend any booked courses much less an ongoing requirement to a signed up course provided you are not trying to extend in country.
