Hi,

My non-b visa has expired on 5 Feb. I did a border bounce in January which gave me other 90 days, till the 13th of April.

I am an Italian citizen and i have received the letter from the embassy to show to the immigration office but my lawyer told me if i ask for this extension i will lose my non b visa and i will get a tourist visa.

Is it true? Any advice would be very appreciated ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Italian citizen's Non-B visa expired on February 5, but they received a border bounce allowing an additional 90 days. They are seeking advice on whether requesting an extension with the embassy's letter will result in losing their Non-B visa and being switched to a tourist visa.

Lawyer is NOT up to date with what is really happening. You will get up to 10 days at first UNDER CONSIDERATION" stamp...return when told to get remaining 30 days.

If you visa is expired, it is expired. Immigration is not going to change that. If you visit with this letter the immigration office you will get a stamp with application is under consideration and up to no more than 30 days,.
