Quick question when I apply for a one year extension at the immigration and am given only two weeks extension written on my passport that my extension is under consideration and I should report to the immigration on a certain date .. When I fail to report to the immigration on that date and report one day after due to unavoidable circumstances what is going to happen? Thanks for the response jokes aside!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you apply for a one-year extension in Thailand and are given a temporary extension with a specific reporting date, it is crucial to arrive on that date. If you miss the date by one day, it could result in significant complications. Based on community advice, you may have to restart the entire extension process as some immigration offices, such as in Bangkok, do not offer leeway for late reporting. If circumstances prevent timely reporting, it is recommended to immediately contact the immigration office or have your employer reach out for guidance.
As a general rule you HAVE to show up on the date in your passport. That's the date your file is sitting on someones desk waiting for you to come in.
IF you can't make it definitely go to the immigration office OR have your employer call them to see what IF anything can be done.
I know in BANGKOK if you miss a return date on an under consideration stamp you start ALL over again with what ever process you're undertaking. They cut no slack on it up here.
Good Luck, GO to the immigration office yourself OR have your employer contact them to see what can be done.
Okay if you get a school and you have a non b visa for those at the southern part of Thailand when you have your work permit and you go to to the immigration for a one year extension you pay 1900 baht they stamp only two weeks on your passport they say that they are doing that for clarification then after two weeks there's a specific date they write to you that you should report to the immigration I might miss that date by one day now that's where the issue is...and I don't have a one year extension yet am still under consideration
...My visa is valid. You can ask here for advice and/or you could ask Immigration. My Immigration people are pretty good at assisting people with good advice. Why not ask..?0
