Will I be able to enter Phuket with my e-visa and pending Thai Pass application?

I'm flying to Phuket via Singapore on Jan 15th. I've got a 2 month e-visa. I applied for Thai Pass 5 days ago (no news yet). I've got a SHA+ hotel for a week. I've got all the documentation (flights, insurance, vaccine certificate, so on).

Should I feel pretty confident that I'll be able to get into Phuket? I'm of course a bit worried there's gonna be some big change of policy beween now and the 15th when I fly. Any assurances or heads up would be welcome, thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is traveling to Phuket with a 2-month e-visa and is awaiting a response for their Thai Pass application. They have all necessary documentation, including flights and insurance, but express concern about potential last-minute policy changes before their flight on January 15th. Comments from the community provide reassurance, sharing personal experiences of similar applications and approval timelines, suggesting that travelers with pending applications are often accepted even if policies change.

One question : for US passport it used to be visa on arrival .. Do we need to apply for eVisa along with Thai Pass ( Phuket sandbox ) !

No, I just wanted the 2 month e-visa for ease. But you can get a 1 month visa exeption in the airport and then (allegedly) extend it an extra month for 1,900 baht in the immigration office in Phuket.

There will be an update on policy on Tuesday 4th January. No-one knows what will happen of course but likely the one night Test and Go wonโ€™t be reinstated but that Phuket Sandbox will stay. Watch this space!๐Ÿ˜Š

Last time they made a change, everyone who already applied for their Thailand Pass was grandfathered in. So even if they make changes, you're probably still fine

You gave yourself 3 weeks for the pass, so that was good. Some people's literally took minutes. Mine was 7 days. The website says if you haven't received a reply in 7 days, then you can contact them if you are concerned. If there is nothing wrong with the details you entered, a phone call (so I hear) will usually get quick results (if you can get through)

I applied 20 days before departure. Spare me your emoji.

You should be good. New Year Holidays here, so maybe that's why your TP hasnt been approved yet

Thanks. My meaning was less about TP and more about changing policy that would end the Phuket sandbox program altogether

It's not ending. You should be fine

this is normal, don't be nervous. Received a response 10 hours before departure, they have a long queue there
