Hi all wondered if you could help with a cash question. I still have some notes left from my last trip to Thailand in 2020. Some still have the previous king on. Does any one know if they are still in date. I won’t be back until late 2024?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, the older Thai banknotes featuring the previous king are still considered legal tender as of 2023. Several commenters confirm that they will likely remain valid even into late 2024, as they are still commonly used and dispensed by ATMs alongside newer notes.

Yes they are still legal tender

Still commonly in use. They are not treated differently than bills with the current king. ATMs are still dispensing old bills as usual mixed with new ones. They aren't being taken out of circulation.

Yes all good

Your older money will undoubtedly be good in 2024 or 2025...

Currently still legal tender. No idea if they will be so late ‘24 but my guess would be yes.
