I’m on a non O based on retirement exp 7/7/25 I got it in Phetchabun using the 65k p/m route. We are in Kohl’s Pha-ngan on holiday and flying to Vietnam in a couple of weeks so thought I’d go to the immi here to get a single re entry. The officer here refused it saying I need to show financial statements? I tried explaining the previous but he said boss wants to see bank statements. This can’t be right surely ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a Non-O retirement visa, attempted to obtain a single re-entry permit at an immigration office in Koh Phangan. However, the officer denied the request, citing the need for bank statements as proof of financial stability, despite the user having followed the appropriate visa route. Comments suggest that the denial might be due to the visa being issued in a different location, and recommendations were made to either obtain the re-entry from the original issuance site or purchase one at the airport.
