Why is my WISE money transfer on hold, and how can I expedite it?

I am currently in Brazil...been using wise for years...about 2 months ago it quit completly

Try to download the app next time and transfer through it. Sad but true.

I stopped using them had they screw me around to many times I went to Remitly transfer takes around minute or two every time

Yes, the past few transfers were going to take a week. Used Remitly instead.

For future reference, in the app and no doubt online banking you can make any account a trusted account so it doesn't go through the security checks and is much quicker usually seconds.

It may be though that you have been unlucky with a random pull and check

I bought a car in thailand and transfer for 0 bht took 3 and half days to arrive, but I slipped up and did transfer on a Saturday night,”got message it would arrive tues midday” (sat/sun) not working days, so in reality it took day and a half to arrive, cost £60 tho,.

Long holiday maybe is the cause

I transferred money on Monday & on Tuesday

No issues it took seconds, even though my bank was having issues on Monday, I still got to transfer

My bank was having issues transferring money in and out on Monday, a payment due to go into my bank was held up along with other customers until the error was fixed on Tuesday afternoon

My transfer of funds already in my Aus account were completed although looking at the account in Aus (not wise) it send the payment was pending 🤔

Under 50k will go immediately, over processed after holidays

The last few times with Wise, (last time yesterday) the transfer time to Krung Thai Bank, with my debit card and fast transfer, has only taken a few seconds.

This is a transfer of 45,000 Baht per time, and it has only taken a few seconds, even though it is a weekend or holiday.

There are many way how to transfer money using Wise. Some are fast transfer, some are slow, some are from Bank transfer, some are with debet cards and all depending of transfer fee.

I never transfer the weekend anymore , happens one that my Indonesian bank send back the money to wise, they are not working on weekends I guess

Transfer started yesterday afternoon. All indications show that it should be in Bkk in around 45mins. So, thankfully no snags

Can depend on amount you send ,higher amounts can take longer and public holidays can delay processing.

Hi,no problem one hour ago ,did by my normal debit card transfer,was done in seconds to krungscri bank,I'm sure it will come through asap.

Very common if you try to transfer during a holiday.

I've transferred at the beginning of a long weekend before and checked wise after the first day back and they said if I transferred then it would be instant. But I still had to wait most of the day for my transfer I made a few days earlier to arrive.
