I have applied for my COE 11 times and each time the are saying my documents haven’t been uploaded. I have hit the upload button each time. This was through the Thai consulate in LA. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing repeated failures in uploading documents for their Certificate of Entry (COE) application through the Thai consulate in Los Angeles, having attempted the upload process 11 times without success. Several commenters shared their similar experiences and provided tips, highlighting that the upload process includes a two-step method of uploading and then attaching documents to the application. Others suggested trying different file formats, using a phone for uploads, and contacting the consulate for assistance. There is a consensus that the COE website may have ongoing technical issues affecting all consulates.

Would anyone happen to know if I am able to apply for my COE through a different location if I got my visa from the LA Consulate? I am wondering if the LA Consulate website is having more issues, or if they all essentially use the same system.

There is only one website for COE. It's the same website nearly the entire rest of the world uses. It doesn't have anything to do with a specific consulate.

yeah okay thank you. Their site was down earlier because it was under construction. This seems to be a reoccurring issue! They are trying to get everything fixed

every website is iffy when it comes to Thailand. The Nationwide systems they use for TM30 reporting and 90 day reporting in the country have been down for weeks now.

the COE site seems to be working for me? At least I can get all the way to the point where it wants my information. But I haven't tried submitting

I am able to submit, but they can’t see any of my documents on their end. On their end it looks as if I didn’t upload any documents at all. I called and they said their site is still down and not working so I’m a little confused. I upload a document into the drop box and click the upload arrow, but when I click on the preview button, nothing shows up.

Their system was doing the same thing to me. I emailed them with screenshots showing that it's fully uploaded and that when I go to it's view status, it says that documents weren't uploaded.

Eventually it went through though.

I guess I used their DC office.

Here's the people I emailed:

were they any help? I did the same but they said there was nothing they can do.

I’ll keep trying! I’m glad you were able to get it through eventually!

Yes, kept trying and eventually it worked.

What file type?
Lisa ********************
I used jpeg images

I only ask because I literally took screenshots of everything with my iPhone, and it uploaded without issue. Other file formats seemed to stall. Good luck. I made it from Phoenix so anyone can make it. Lol

I’ve been using pdf and that is one of the options I am able to use on the site. It has no issues uploading and tells me it’s fully uploaded when I submit.

Someone mentioned I may be applying too many times in one day. I will give it a rest and reapply again tomorrow

It’s a two step process, select the document you want attached and from memory there is an upload arrow you click on to upload it.

I have clicked the arrow everytime. I drag the document into the box, click the arrow, and it tells me it is then uploaded. I am not sure what else I need to do? I have tried calling, but they say they are unable to help, that it is on my end.

@Ali ********
if it says it’s uploaded what makes you think it hasn’t?

I have been emailing the consulate and they are sending me pictures on their end of no documents uploaded in the box. When it is rejected I also get an automated email stating there were no documents. I have a friend who has had the same issue and it was because she chose the wrong visa type when filling out her application so they responded telling her they didn’t receive any uploaded documents

make sure you click save at each step, try a different bowser, from memory I think the last page shows you what has been uploaded.

I had the same problem 6 months ago. You have to upload the document then you have to download to the application. 2 Steps to get the document in the application

Do you download the application just by clicking the arrow?
David *********
@Ali ********
After the documents are done just follow the instructions and submit
