Why can't I upload my vaccine record QR code for my Thaipass application?
Trying to upload my vaccine record QR code for my Thaipass application and it keeps telling me the QR code is not valid… this is from my Australian international vac. Certificate- tried taking a photo of the code 100’s of times and no luck. Working off an iPad. Any ideas? Have made sure there’s no shadow, no background, no text etc etc…
Answer summary
Users are encountering difficulties uploading their vaccine record QR codes for their Thaipass applications. Common issues include format problems, such as images being in HEIC instead of JPEG, and challenges even when images are taken with care. Suggestions include uploading the QR code as an additional document at the end of the application process. There is general frustration regarding the functionality of the Thaipass website and how it compares to previous systems like COE.

One would think they want the visitors and returnees - logic would tell you they would fix ThailandPas website to work properly using global acceptable standards and stop this insane confusion for people wanting to come. Just boggles the mind. It was easier using COE earlier this year. They could have converted a working system.

I am an Aussie and had the same problem today. I took a snipet and also took a pic with my phone but no luck after trying many times. At the end of the application your able to upload extra documents so I uploaded the QR code there.

just completed it today…

Possibly your iPad is using the HEIC format for pictures. They need to be JPEG. Google how to convert.
