What should my friend indicate as the departure point on the TDAC when arriving in Thailand via KL?

Question, my retirement visa , renewal is due, 10th January 2026.

I can claim my state pension on 2 April 2026 , with this and my company pension it will give me approx 70,000bt which is over the 65 thousand requirement for retirement. What do I do?

You put original departure country. This is for health reason if you are coming from a country which yellow fever vaccinations are required. For flight you put the flight you enter Thailand.

It's the original departure, or for example you have a stop off and decide to do it their they don't give a shit. You might have to try again after the system blows you out because you give information they don't need. That's the default system someone doesn't know how to debug. How do they check your hotel before? They can't and don't. No worries

I used departure country where I arrived at an airport and boarded.

I came in via Taiwan and they wanted the original departure destination unless u stopped in KL.and went threw customs

Must be KL as departure country.

They are ARRIVING on a flight from KL

The TDAC should have the info on the flight that actually arrives in Thailand

Put KL as that will be his arrival flight
