Some people are having trouble getting insurance when they have underlying health conditions, like cancer and heart problems. Even though they had no problem getting insurance precovid. Anyone experienced this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many expats in Thailand are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain health insurance if they have pre-existing conditions such as cancer or heart problems. This contrasts with the previous ease they experienced in acquiring insurance before the COVID-19 pandemic. Community members have shared mixed experiences, with some reporting acceptance from certain companies like Luma and rejection from others like AXA. The conversations have also touched upon concerns about short-term insurance options and how they interact with visa renewal processes. Overall, the prevailing sentiment is a challenge in securing necessary healthcare coverage due to recent underwriting changes.
