Which is the better option for a visa border bounce: Laos or Cambodia?

I have to do a border bounce soon to cancel my Non O-A visa. I am about 3 1/2 hour drive from Loas and 4 hour drive to Cambodia. Which would be the better place to do a border bounce? Loas/Cambodia tourist visa costs/etc. Thanks for the help!

Don't make it sound like it's hard. It's very straightforward. Actually, it's just 75 Baht not 250, for the car passport.

You can't drive across unless your car has a "passport" from your local Dept of Land & Transport. She gets in without a visa but needs a passport.

I did Mukdahan to Sanannakhet last week, Laos Visa there was 1800B, simple process,

There is no need to get a tourist visa, from Savannaket, Laos. It is a 2 day process and only gives you 15 more days than if you were to do a hop over and hop back for the 45+30 Visa Exemption. A same day Border Bounce gives you 75 days, including the 30 day extension. The TR visa give you 90 days but takes 2 days.

Just fill in a form, give a passport photo and pay, there'e a window before the Immigration booths on the side of the road

Best to have the 3 proofs in any case:

hotel booking for a few days & onward travel reservation within 45 days, & 20,000 thb or equivalent in $ Β£ € in CASH is needed.

not possible without a lot of paperwork from thailand into Laos or Cambodia. So be prepared to leave the vehicle in thailand
