Has anyone tried to walk in Thai Embassy at HCMC without appointment and apply for a tourist visa? Will they let you in or consider you in emergencies?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You cannot walk into the Thai Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City to apply for a tourist visa without an appointment. The embassy strictly requires an appointment for visa applications, and attempts to apply without one, even in emergencies, are typically not accommodated. There are reports of individuals being turned away, and the process is strictly enforced with no exceptions noted for walk-ins.

Tried it about six months ago. They sent us away. Some guys on telegram were selling appointments for $200 sent to a Russian or Ukrainian bank account at that time. We were not ready to use that service, so re-entered Thailand on a 45 day stamp.

There is a special link on their website, but try your luck. Just go and knock on the door

Ho Chi Minh City Thai Consulate REQUIRES an appointment to make an application for a Thai Visa.

No walk up accepted.

Carefully read the Thai visa requirements for the visa which you are applying for. They are strictly requiring each item listed be submitted.

And if you are seeking back to back Thai Tourist Visas, they will deny your application.
