Hi there, just wondering where does everyone add on their cover letter with brief explanation of intent to apply for the dtv? Does it go in one pdf just before the financial evidence or my softpower documents? Another thing would be, if my muay thai courses will be in bangkok, can I provide travel details for another city, as we had plans to travel around first? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the proper placement of a cover letter within a visa application for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) and whether it can include travel plans for another city while attending Muay Thai courses in Bangkok. Comments emphasize clarity in the application and caution against including unnecessary travel details.

If your Muay Thai gym is in Bangkok, then I would definitely not include any travel details about other regions in Thailand. I wouldn't even know where you'd want to include or upload them. I would keep it as simple and straightforward as possible. The consular officer doesn't want to read through your travel plans or letters because they're stressed out and have to process 20 visa applications a day. Furthermore, if you overdo it with documents that aren't required, they might suspect that you're trying to cover something up.

Are you applying for soft power or remote worker ?

It's not required to include such a cover letter, but if you absolutely want to, include it under point 5 along with your Muay Thai documents. The cover letter should then only be about Muay Thai, i.e., your intention to learn, train, and improve Muay Thai.
