I've seen a lot of people mention inserting a cover letter.
I've got the full application completed but I don't see a section to insert a cover letter.
Where should I insert it?
Thanks for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on where to include a cover letter in their visa application for Thailand. Responses suggest merging the cover letter with other documents into a single PDF or including it anywhere in the application. There is also a suggestion to keep the submission simple and focused on requested information.
You merge all your documents into one PDF and upload that.
Cover letter, portfolio, CV, tax returns, whatever they require.

Don’t confuse things. Best to keep it simple and just provide clear and direct answers to what is requested, nothing else. Then they can just, tick, tick, tick and all done. Any extra information makes them just ask more questions.
it's been literally the opposite for DTV applications. They ask for silly stuff just to ask for more and even ask you to send the same documents, that you've already sent in with your application, again.
