Anyone applied the DTV visa in Manila using soft power option recently ? 

We are planning to apply in Manila (plan to stay there for 10-14 days) at the beginning of next month, wondering if anyone could share some recent experience. 

We are gonna enroll to the Discover Thai Nature seminar ( [members only] ) for the DTV visa, the seminar said they do not have experience from Manila so I am still thinking if Manila is a good option or we should apply in Hanoi, Vietnam instead

Has the course sponsor had any success in getting the DTV visa issued for its sponsored applicants ?

I have not 🚫 seen any reports of it being approved in Manila.

But it has been approved for the DTV visa in Phnom Penh Cambodia.

ASK THE COURSE SPONSOR...

ONLY APPLY FOR IT WHERE THEY HAVE HAD SUCCESS.

In other words...

Do what the course sponsor says and go to the Thai Embassy or Consulate where they have had success in getting the DTV visa issued.
