Where do I process my visa extension in Chiang Mai if my permission of stay is for teaching?

Chiang Mai specific, posted in Expats Chiang Mai but no answer yet.  

My annual permission of stay expires the end of this month, category: teacher/lecturer at university.  Since some things have moved to Promenada I would like to know if my category is still handled at the airport office or now at Promenada.  Thanks in advance.

Also, does the Sept 26 info apply to me, still a bit confused about that as my expiration for annual extension is Sept 30.

No, stopped working and he is aware. Contract not renewed due to government funding loss.

I'm going to the airport one tomorrow after someone in another group said that was the place. Will post back the results. Work permit now renewed.

A colleague at work converted his permission of stay based on work to one based on retirement at the airport one recently.

Did your colleague continue working? An extension of stay based on retirement does not allow a person to have a passport

Yes. Been renewing extension and WP for more than 2 decades so nothing has changed regarding this.

I don't think anyone here knows; but I recommend trying whatever is closer to you first.

No, you are not on amnesty, but on a valid extension of stay.
