Does anyone know if the Chiang Mai Immigration Office will be open tomorrow? Google business says they are closed on weekends, but I have heard different things.

Okay heads up you Chiang Mai-esianz :O

The immigration offices in CHiang Mai are now ONLY open Monday to Friday. There is no weekend TM30 program anymore.

ALSO if you are doing a 30 day extension (on a 30 day visa exempt or a 60 day tourist visa) a 90 day report OR filing a TM30, you go to the immigration office at the new Promenada location.

It has posted hours of 9 until 5.

I was just there to try to get the 30-day visa extension. I got my passport photocopies, forms etc all from there but they told me to go to Promenada shopping mall and by the time I got there (10:30am), the queue for today was already full. No more people could fit in today. I was told that on weekend the promenada shopping mall immigration desk is closed so Im going to try again Monday

My understanding is the TM30 desk is open 7 days a week, but not the immigration office itself.
