Hi, I applied for the 12-month visa based on 400k marriage (10th June). Received it on the 10th July. Am I correct in assuming that the first 90-day report is due 90 days from the application date (10th June)? I’m just asking because it expires in 11 months, not the 12 months I thought it might. I don’t think my collecting the visa counts as any kind of report, is that correct? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day report is due 90 days from the date you received your visa (10th July), not from the application date (10th June). This means your first report will be due after 90 days from the visa issue date, and collecting the visa does not count as a report.

most Immigration offices put a note in your passport with the first 90 day report date. But if you do not have this note, contact the office and ask which day they start counting for your 90 days reports.

Just for information: You applied for an Extension of Stay based on being married to a Thai National, you first got 30 days under consideration and on return on that day you got the remaining 11 months of the total 1 year stamped in your passport. It is not a visa.
