I will be arriving in Thailand on 3rd of May- leaving U.K 2nd of May. Unfortunately, after studying many posts regarding new TDAC visa I still do not know weather to apply more than 3 days or less than 3 days before arrival. Please clarify many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), you should complete the application within 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival in Thailand. The system allows you to fill out the card starting from 3 days prior to the intended arrival date, meaning you can submit it as late as the day before you leave the UK. Many users suggest filling it in on the 1st or 2nd of May if arriving on the 3rd.

May be a silly question

But if you are doing a Border Bounce or flying out to extend your time or get another 90 days on a multi entry Visa

If you fill out your TDAC 3 days before you travel , Immigration will have advance knowledge of your intentions and time to look at your previous stay periods in Thailand before you leave which the Officer who stamps you out will have immediate access to so may refuse re entry upon your return

I haven't looked at it yet. I've not got an address for my first night.

@Lynnette ******
are they just looking for an address or a confirmed booking ?

@Michael *********
don't know. I've not looked yet. I'm hoping just an address is ok. I've options on where to stay like family or hotel for first couple nights. Then I have an apartment booked. I arrive early morning so was leaving my first night optional.

TDAC is not a visa it’s Thailand Digital Arrival Card , you can complete up to 72 hours before travel , you should get an acknowledgement email to show to immigration and in theory it’s supposed to speed up your progress through immigration.

It’s an arrival card and up to three days prior to arrival gives you 0-72 hours before you ARRIVE in Thailand.

Thanks again. Unfortunately some posts are still giving confusing information

The website only lets you select an arrival date within 3 days. All other dates are not an option to select. Do the math as to when you can apply then.
