The responses outline various options, including the Visa Exemption rule, the NON-O visa for those over 50 or married to a Thai, and the suggestion that frequent travelers may not need a visa if they are compliant with entry rules. Some users share personal experiences of successfully navigating frequent entries without issues.

I'm on a 4 week rotation. 4wks in Thailand tgen 4wks out. I've been doing this now for 3 years, so 5-6 visa exemptions (I'm from the UK) per year.
The last 2 times I've entered Thailand have been horrendous! My last entry was on tge 31st of December and I genuinely thought I was going to get turned away. I took my nearly 30 mins of answer questions, and having to deal with 2 supervisors, before they finally let me in.
Exemption is ok for a while, but doing it regularly won't last forever.
I'm now trying to come up with a suitable plan for myself.
No changes to visas. Though visa EXEMPT is 60 days for many countries. Just a bit more scrutiny on people entering who try to live in Thailand without visas.
Ian Taylor The fact that you're never applying for extensions or doing border bounces is in your favour. It's obvious you're not trying to live in Thailand on free entries. My suggestion is to continue the way you're going. If at some stage an immigration officer gets a bit narky, then we'll take another look. Generally you'll get a "Get a proper visa next time" warning. Very unlikely you'll be denied entry straight off the bat
Ian Taylor i really think you don’t need a visa. your a frequent traveler to Thailand spending equal time in your own country. By flying in and out to Australia your displaying wealth
roster we fly in every month they are not being questioned. Infact they get through immigration quicker than me as many IO dont know what OX visa is and have to call a senior.
i have friend from Melbourne who did this last year with visa exempt. 9 entries. Should not be a problem as your flying back to your home country and your not maxing out on 60 days and doing border bounces
