Answer summary
To apply for a Non-O retirement visa from Australia, the primary applicant must be 50 years old or over and requires several documents including a valid passport, recent passport-sized photographs, a completed visa application form, proof of travel, and financial evidence showing at least 800,000 Thai baht in a bank account. As for dependents, they cannot simply be added to the main applicant's visa; they need to apply for their own dependent Non-O visa. It's advisable to consult the Thai Embassy's website for the most accurate and detailed requirements.

You need to be 50 or over to apply for a Non Imm O visa based on retirement
Yes, you can have dependents join you, but it depends on what kind of Non-Immigrant O Visa you hold.
A dependent cannot typically be "added" as an extra name onto your own single visa stamp; instead, your family members must apply for their own separate Non-Immigrant O Visa (Family Members/Dependents) linked to your status.
Who Can Sponsor DependentsRetirement O Visa Holders: Generally, you cannot sponsor a dependent (like a spouse or older child) to get a dependent visa based solely on a standard retirement O-visa, though a spouse can often apply for their own retirement or marriage O-visa if they qualify independently.Volunteer, Employment, or Education
O Visa Holders: If your Non-O visa is based on working as a teacher, volunteering, or studying (accompanying an ED visa context), you can usually sponsor immediate family members—meaning a legally married spouse and minor children under 20 years old
General Core DocumentsPassport: Valid for at least 6 months with blank pages.Photograph: Recent passport-sized photo (2"x2" or 4x6 cm depending on submission rules) with a light background.Visa Application Form: Completed via the e-visa portal.Proof of Travel/Flight: Itinerary or flight booking.
I'd be surprised if they will issue you with a 90 day Non-O visa as a dependant at the same time as your husband applies for a 90 day Non-O visa based on being 50 or over. If your husband applies for the 12 month Non-OA visa they probably will but that requires police checks, medical certificate and insurance
