What visa options are available for a 16-year-old Muay Thai trainee in Thailand?
Hi! My younger brother is training muay thai at Tiger and wants to stay for the year. He's from the USA and is 16.
We do not have a visa, and I'm looking for help. Any suggestions?

Answer summary
A user is inquiring about visa options for their 16-year-old brother who intends to stay in Thailand for a year to train Muay Thai at Tiger Muay Thai. Community members suggest that the gym likely offers an education visa, which is commonly used for training purposes. Alternatives include checking with other gyms like Southside MMA that also provide education visas or pursuing a Thai language education visa. There's a discussion about the necessity of having an appropriate visa, as the user mentions they currently do not hold any.

Pretty sure Tiger does education visas 👍
If they don’t I think southside mma, aka Thailand and a few other gyms.
You can also get ED visas for Thai language if that helps
