I'm currently in Chiang Mai on a tourist visa. I would like to get DVT (soft power) as I'm retired but not yet quite old enough to get retirement visa. What is the best (i.e. easiest/cheapest) option for soft power documentation (Thai language, Muay Thai, etc) and which neighboring country Thai consulate is the easiest to deal with for DTV applications. Thanks in advance.

Additionally, they are inquiring about which neighboring country's Thai consulate is easiest to deal with for DVT applications. Comments suggest various options for soft power programs including Thai cooking classes and Muay Thai, while also noting that the Hanoi embassy is reputed to be easy for visa processing.
