I'm just looking at the Thai Embassy, London, Visa Application form.It asks for....'Evidence Substantiating your purpose of visit

FOR NON-IMMIGRANT OR LONG STAY ONLY'. What are they looking for? I just want to go and be with my girlfriend and maybe settle down.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Embassy in London requires applicants for Non-Immigrant or Long Stay visas to provide evidence substantiating the purpose of their visit. Responses from the community suggest that the required evidence can vary based on the specific type of visa being applied for. Some users indicated that simply stating the purpose, such as visiting friends and family or planning to retire in Thailand, may suffice without needing additional documentation.
