I have a friend returning to Thailand from China on an education visa. He has all the documents required to get into Thailand. He is required to do a 14 day quarantine however needs to get a TM30 and needs to go to immigration to extend his visa on March 26th.
Does anyone have some advice? He is going to inquire about it at immigration however I thought it might be good to post here in case anyone has any insight into this.
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice for a friend returning to Thailand on an education visa. The friend has the necessary documents but must complete a 14-day quarantine and file a TM30 upon arriving. Additionally, he needs to visit immigration to extend his visa on March 26th. Comments suggest that the TM30 can be submitted via mail and confirm that an education (ED) visa generally allows a 60-day stay.
The ED visa we’re on is a 90 day visa which allows three extensions. He had to apply to leave Thailand to go back home for Chinese New Year however when he returns he needs to apply for his next extension.
