TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice for a friend who has overstayed her visa by one week in Thailand during the Songkran holiday. Several comments suggest that immigration offices are open during the holiday, and recommend that the friend should visit the immigration office to pay a fine of 500 Thai baht for each day overstayed, and apply for an extension. However, there's a warning that the immigration officer may deny the extension application, in which case she would need to leave the country within 7 days. Another option mentioned is to buy a ticket out of Thailand and pay the fine at the airport, while cautioning against checkpoint inspections.

I guess we have enough comments that the Immigration is open today and tomorrow to take care the stay of your friend.

Good luck

Get extension right away, pay the fines!!! Blacklisted record may affect your future visa application

As far as I know they are open today and tomorrow. Songkran officially starts Wednesday.

Immigration is open today and tomorrow,

Your friend can pay the overstay there, BUT the Immigration Officer can reject a new application for an Extension of Stay, in that case she will have 7 days to leave the country.

Other option is to buy a ticket out of Thailand and pay the fine on the airport, but make sure your friend does not get cought out by an check point.

Go to immigration office Monday ..pay the overstay fine of 500 Thai baht per day and apply for an extension.

They should all be open today
