If you’re thinking of coming to Vientiane for a visa run. Please allow your self extra time for processing. A bunch of had appointments and had all the information needed for ED and Work permits. We all have been delayed an extra day. Just letting you know as we all got stuck here an extra night and missed flights.

it did finish today. I’m currently at the airport waiting to fly. They said that the consulate is verifying all Ed visa now. So expect 3 days

There has been cases where people applied with dodgy paperwork, so they do check more throughout and call the relevant Ministry to confirm.

Not sure. I called my school and they said that everything was correct as they set up my packet. At 515pm the consular called the school to verify information. Not sure about the other people that’s what happened to me.
