Hi everyone!

Traveling to Thailand in March, with visa on arrival (45days visa exempt)

Has anyone traveled from Philippines to Thailand recently? Can you please share some tips below.

Would also keen to talk about the complete requirements needed and so on...

I wish you can share your experiences below.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on traveling from the Philippines to Thailand with a visa exemption (45-day stay). They are looking for tips and experiences from others who have journeyed recently. There is also discussion surrounding visa rules, including the difference between visa on arrival and visa exemptions, and the possibility of extending a visa exemption, especially in light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

As a technicality, it's NOT "visa on arrival". You'll be there without a visa - but still need all the other bits and pieces. Take the time to trawl back through this group and you'll read all the info - several times.

I thought I read that exempt visas could not be extended. Is that wrong?

the point I'm making is that an exemption is NOT a visa. An exemption can be extended once (though, during covid, normal rules may not apply and multiple extensions might continue to be possible - but don't bank on it),

You can extend your visa on arrival and get another 30 days... 15 days quarantine sucks but it’s what is required now.

Yes I've done it. Very simple.
