Hey everyone, please I need some advice concerning my upcoming trip to Bangkok this Saturday. So far this year I have gotten into Thailand with 2 visa exemptions and 2 tourist visas. I am currently in Bali and I just applied for my third tourist visa. I am due to arrive back in Bangkok this Saturday but truth be told I am really worried about getting rejected. I have never been warned before by any immigration officer in my previous entries but in truth I have spent a little more than 6 months overall in Thailand already this year. I plan to stay till the end of January but I think I am just going to buy a ticket for a ticket that leaves just before Xmas. Hopefully this will convince them to let me in. Anyone have any other suggestions on what to do that might increase my chances of getting in? Thanks.

You have a 60 day visa why would you book a flight out in two weeks???

Oh, IF you're leaving the country for some reason that's fine but just as a way to show proof of oward travel I would say book one out 60 - 90 days..

good point, I missed that.

it's not gonna help convince them of anything to have a flight out a couple weeks after you get here on a 60 day tourist visa.:/

make that 3 weeks and because its xmas.

your entry history is not such that it would garner suspicion. I mean you're NOT living here on back-2-back visa exempt or tourist visa entries.

I would have proof of funds (20K baht or the equivalent in cash) and proof of onward travel within 60 days.

I don't think you'll have any trouble stamping into the country.

just so you know, when you are asked for proof of funds when stamping IN to thailand you have to show CASH you can't show a bank statement.

Yeah thanks I have got bank statements, cash and a ticket out of Thailand in 2 weeks so hopefully it should be enough.
