I went to MTT- Bangkok Counter K, yesterday July 22 ,just some updates for the group....

1. There were notices on the wall saying as of July 20, the line now ends at 3:30pm and will only serve 300 people a day... Just for reference I arrived at 2pm and it was already in the 290’s and not crowded so it seems the best idea is to go early.

2. No two week under considerstion stamp this time, they gave the full 60 day extension

3. They put a message on my passport advising to come in three weeks before expiration for extensions

Hope this info is useful, enjoy

Answer summary

An update from a recent visit to MTT-Bangkok insights that as of July 20, 2021, the counter serves only 300 people daily, with lines closing at 3:30 PM. There is no longer a two-week consideration stamp, and applicants now receive a full 60-day extension. Additionally, the passport will indicate the recommendation to return three weeks before visa expiration for further extensions.
