For those who have been using MTT here was my experience @ CW today....
Arrived @ 7:30 am to close the loop on my latest 60 day extension. Don’t be fooled by the empty building....I was number 149 in the queue despite arriving before 8 am.
Head around to gate 2 from the entrance and you will see an information table set up...the immigration officers were really helpful and friendly.
The process is much more streamlined that MTT and you will receive a queue number that corresponds with a seat number. Find your seat, wait and then just follow the queue around to the main desk where they will give u another queue number for the appropriate counter (j) which is to the left.
Business started at 8:30 and I was out by 9.15 am.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience at Chaengwattana Immigration Office for a 60-day visa extension, highlighting a streamlined process where they arrived early, received a queue number, and completed their visit efficiently. They emphasize the importance of arriving at the correct building and counter while also noting that primarily visa holders on tourist or special tourist visas use this location for COVID extensions.
Just left, was there for my covid extension (2nd visit). Got my # @11:20, done @11:40.....oops sorry I was at Chang Wattana. They actually called me 2 days ago to advise the switch of locations, though I already knew due to this group
REMEMBER PEOPLE; the ONLY people who use Chaengwattana for their covid extensions are people who originally entered on a tourist or Special tourist VISA or the people on Non-Immigrant type entries.
It's called the "Government Complex" for a reason ;) and there are many MANY other government offices in Building B (and Building A too) other than the immigration office which is located on the second floor by the South Entrance to building B
