What should I do if my visa for Thailand is still pending before my flight?
I’ve applied for the visa and it’s pending approval. However my flight to Thailand from Vietnam is tomorrow morning at 8am.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do if it hasn’t come through before my flight at 8am tomorrow.
If anyone has an email, so I can contact them to check the progress, please let me know 🥰

Answer summary
A user is facing a dilemma as their visa to Thailand is still pending approval, and their flight from Vietnam is scheduled for the next morning. The community has advised that due to a Thai holiday, visa processing is likely on hold, and there may be difficulties reaching the embassy. Suggestions include considering rescheduling the flight and the importance of waiting for visa approval before traveling, as being in Thailand during the processing could potentially jeopardize the visa application.

Next time use some time to read the visa section on the website of the desired Embassy.

Allthough chances are slim, I personally would wait till the visa is approved before going back to Thailand, because it ia against the rules to be in Thailand during the processing of the approval. It might lead to rejecting the application and I would not take that risk.
General rule for applying visa is do not buy non-refundable tickets before a visa is granted.

Here's a novel concept: call the airline and change your flight.

The embassy will be closed today, since it is a Thai holiday.

Recent report were mostly between 3-5 days. Also today is Thai holiday so visas won't be processed and you won't be able to reach them. I'd move my flight if I were you
