I have a DTV visa and applied for my two dependents. I applied for both at the same time. One was approved today (my son) but the other (my wife) is still “pending approval.” No word from the Embassy in Hanoi. Should I visit the embassy Monday or is this just a waiting game?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a DTV visa and applied for dependent visas for their son and wife simultaneously. While the son's visa has been approved, the wife's is still pending approval with no update from the embassy in Hanoi. The user is inquiring whether to visit the embassy in person or wait for further news.

They won't even let you onto the embassy property. You need to contact them through an online channel.

are you joking? You are asking about a visa application you filed with the Thai embassy in Hanoi. So you go to the website of the Thai embassy in Hanoi.

You apply for a visa somewhere without looking at their webpage to see how procedures and waiting time are?
