Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience since this group has been really helpful!

I submitted my DTV visa application in the Philippines on Monday and received it today (Thursday). I initially thought Monday would be counted as Day 1, but it turns out they started counting from Tuesday, so it only took 3 days to process!

Here are the documents I submitted:

* Contract (proof of work)

* Employment verification (confirming that I'm currently working)

* Detailed explanation of what I do + screenshots

* Bank statement (last 6 months) ā€“ I deposited a large amount in the last 4 days (around $10,000 in total) to show sufficient funds

* My previous ED visa stamp + cancellation proof

* Current rental contract (where Iā€™m staying now)

* Philippines entry stamp + hotel booking (used my current address for this)

Since I have a Korean passport, the visa fee was $0!

thank you eveyronee

Thanks for your helpful report.

Congratulations šŸ‘šŸ‘

Be sure to print out several copies the email with the DTV Visa in it.

You will use the copies during the 5 years of the DTV visa.

Show it to airlines at check-in AND Thai Immigration officers upon arrival into Thailand.

airlines? Why?

to prove that you have Thai VIsa which allows you to stay in Thailand 180 days. If you enter Thailand with a tourist visa or Visa Exempt Entry, and Thai Immigration DENIED entry, the airline is fined AND responsible to fly you BACK to your initial start Point at your expense.
