TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking recommendations for travel insurance companies with adequate Covid-19 coverage for flights from the UK to Thailand. Comments suggest that AXA Thailand is a preferred choice due to its comprehensive coverage, including hospital expenses related to Covid-19 without a deductible or waiting period. Additionally, it is advised to avoid using AETNA for such insurance. Experts and agents in the conversation endorse AXA for its approval on Certificate of Entry (CoE) requirements.
Hello. I am the agent with AXA on the ground in Bangkok for their Inbound travel package. Ministry approved for all types of visas including specifically Covid coverage of 3.5M baht in/outpatient anywhere in Thailand during and after your quarantine. Guaranteed approval for CoE. No deductible, and no waiting period.
Make sure you guys are reading the policy wording before purchasing. A brochure is not a legal document. The policy wording will tell you what is excluded and what is covered.
Get hold of eis on here they will recommend Axa Thailand. Don’t do Axa in the U.K. as they are expensive plus they have a huge excess. I’m a financial adviser and I’ve gone with Axa Thailand
