Need help/advice: Has anyone had their DTV application randomly CANCELLED after a 3-month wait?

Hey everyone, looking for some insights here because I’m completely baffled.

Here’s my timeline with the embassy:

* April 7th: Submitted my final requested documents. Then, weeks of complete silence.

* June 4th: Couldn't wait any longer, so I emailed the embassy for an update. They replied on the 5th telling me to just "wait patiently."

* June 11th: The embassy unexpectedly emailed me, asking for my exact travel dates and if I had booked my flights yet. I replied saying my planned travel date was June 20th.

* June 23rd: Status was still stuck on "Pending." I sent another follow-up email but received no response.

* June 25th: I logged into the e-Visa portal only to find my application status changed to "Cancelled".

I wasted nearly 3 full months just to get a silent cancellation. There were absolutely zero spelling mistakes or typos in my name or personal info. To make it worse, I never received any official rejection/cancellation email explaining *why*.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Does "Cancelled" mean I can reapply immediately at a different embassy (like Kuala Lumpur or Vientiane), or will this leave a bad record? Any advice would be highly appreciated!
Answer summary
The user is seeking help after their DTV visa application was unexpectedly cancelled after a three-month waiting period. Despite submitting all required documents and following up with the embassy, they received no explanation for the cancellation. They are looking for insights from others who may have experienced similar situations, specifically whether they can reapply immediately at a different embassy and if the cancellation will impact their visa application history.

Well done Thailand. Should help to weed out criminals entering the kingdom.

Lol this is not about a regular fast track service. They're cracking down on corrupt airport officers and their so called "green corridor" practice.

Good. I hope they crack down hard. Fly first class or business otherwise wait in the normal line.

You can legitimately purchase fast track services, but this article is referring to agencies offering guaranteed entry via some unofficial VIP entry system. It is aimed at people who may be denied entry.

Bunch of nonsense chinese brokers making false claims. Fast Track line is not going anywhere. Talk for awhile the bribes will surface and it will be done. Guaranteed.

Wow. Was expecting this at some point but not that soon. New government is not messing around . What’s next ? Tightening the re-entry requirements for DTV ?

This does not relate to typical Safe Entry with agent. Safe Entry / VIP, etc, is 4k baht on the high end. 4.5k to 12k is massive and scream "people with prior", or "group from certain nationalities". The article refer to "brokers". This likely refer to letting dangerous and scammers in for a much larger fee.

Wrong. It does relate to safe entry with agent. Period. You should read the article again. Thank you

ExcitingRaccoon1731 I did, you clearly didn't. 4.5k to 12k is NOT the Safe Entry price. Reread the article, and then my comment. My comment cover the whole statement of the article.

ExcitingRaccoon1731 Anonymous accounts always speak the loudest, but know the least. I don't need to dig, I rely on life experience. I rely on people I know that used fast track recently, and it's nowhere near those prices. The wording in the article also refer to brokers. People with experience know which type of people this target.

Wrong again . You have no idea about the current prices. Things change rapidly here. Keep digging . Thank you

They are not messing about, all those using agents to funds their accounts should be getting worried. I was thinking about 5 years down the line but it’s very real now

I do not know how widespread the funding of DTV accounts is. Retirement is still quite big in certain cities more than others. I visited my second bank last week when I was down in Pattaya to meet a pal. It was the branch on Pattaya Klang that would be absolutely full all day with agents and people opening accounts and getting their money deposited for a visa. Zero queue when I walked in two weeks ago. Took my ticket. Served first.

Chonburi immigration work independently. So the agent does not give a cut to anyone but immigration officers. That's why prices are usually low in Pattaya. It's a business that won't go away. Most agents in other provinces are giving cuts to people above them (powerful families).
