What should I do if my Thailand tourist visa application status shows 'Incomplete' and 'Pending Document Check'?
Hi everyone,
I have applied for a tourist visa to Thailand through the Royal Thai Embassy in London. I am not a British citizen, and I am applying using my UK Travel Document.
I uploaded all the documents requested, including:
• My return flight tickets
• My hotel bookings
• Proof of my legal residence in the UK
• My employment letter and payslips
I also work full-time and have a good balance in my bank account.
The application asked for three months of bank statements, but the website only allowed me to upload one file, so I uploaded only one month of bank statements.
I have paid the visa fee of £30. However, I am now confused about the status shown on the website. It shows “Incomplete” in one place and “Pending Document Check” under the application status.
Does anyone know if my application has actually been submitted successfully? What happens next, and is there anything else I need to do?
I would really appreciate any advice from anyone who has been through the same process.

quand on doit télécharger plusieurs documents, il faut faire un PDF en rajoutant des pages ça fait un document de plusieurs pages . Si après il est trop volumineux, vous prenez un convertisseur PDF gratuit et vous réduisez la taille du document.

On my application I’ve received back on the application site pending documents, then pending approval now pending decision. Have checked and they have not advised about anymore documents etc. I was also only able to send one months bank statement, along with hotel and letter confirmation and letter from family . Don’t know what’s going to be the outcome

Bill Taylor i am 76 and us oldies are being discriminated against by all this digital bureacracy.....long ago just went to embassy in person or by post with easy peasy form to fill in......I can just about manage the TDAC but getting tourist visa?????? easiear get a ticket out for within the 30 days visa exempt to cambodia for notalot but do not use and go to Immo for 30 more days,,,still a bureacratic pain but in person and take the wife,, not too bad,

I had the same problem recently when I applied for my 60 day visa, so I just sent the 1 month bank statement and the visa was approved anyway.

Jeff Jones i think you have other options for the bank statements? Read the statement rules again ( not sure about that) but for the moment you must wait for the reply.

You need to download 3 months of bank statements & merge them into 1 PDF document & then submit that document, you'll need to do that WHEN they ask you for additional documents, which they will. I had to do this & then I was approved

Check if the application number are the same first, I would assume its not and its 2 different application number. Delete the incomplete one.

All documents put into a Word Document then save all into a single PDF file. Send that pdf

I applied in Germany uploaded all the documents you did plus 4 months bank statement..which I put as 1 file

I did it successfully, but it was a pain in the ass. Use a PDF compressor to submit the large files and make bookings pay later free cancel (agoda or booking.com) there's also websites for outgoing tickets that are cheap if you look

the requirements just to get a tourist visa are outrageous. I just got a 1 year visa to Australia with unlimited 90 day entries. All done in 10 minutes on app on my phone.

Doug Powell you dont understand at all. I am from the Netherlands (not the UK) I can get a one year multiple entry visa for Australia in 15 minutes. Thailand for 60 days visa it takes a week and lot of paperwork. You dont understand the difference

Jo Clemente amazes me how many people say what they can do with Australia, you do realise we have hundreds of years history with Australia, we also make it easy for Australians to visit the UK. Do you know how hard it is for a Thai to get a tourist visa to UK ?./They have to physically visit a UK nominated agent in Bangkok apart from all the other obligatory stuff. Stop moaning, your lucky you don't have to make an expensive journey to the embassy as thais have to do to visit the UK😠😠😠

Jo Clemente The procedure for Thai nationals applying for a tourist visa for Australia (or UK, or Europe, or USA, etc … ) is quite a different experience. It’s often tedious, complicated and slow (my Thai partner’s most recent Aussie visitor visa took six months). Given the principle of reciprocity, the Thai visa process probably feels perfectly reasonable to Thai people.

Lynnette Munoz he means the thai visa process is complicated compared to other countries. It is. Most visas I get in a day, a week at the most, be it Asia , S America or Austrzlua etc.
For me, I have to have a ton of documents and a wait of 4 WEEKS for my Thai Visa 60 days from Paris. Thats ridiculous.
PS I have no red marks or overstays on my passports over 38 years.

I would imagine they will come back to you requesting the 3 months of statements. You need to combine the 3 months of statements into a single pdf before uploading using a pdf utility. For now you just have to wait.

its absolutely incredible the amount of documents needed for a 60 day Tourist visa.It will put a lot of would be tourists off from applying. Im 73, have an Ipad, and am considéring enrtereing Visa Exempt with a 30 day extension. Which I have often done with a return ticket out and a real ticket out to Penang to keep emirates happy.Activity
