Hi everyone.

Before leaving Thailand I tested positive but I already had my Thai pass issued and printed out.

Fully recovered, now I'm planning on returning to Thailand. What should I do?

Can I use the same Thai pass on my return or should I reapply.

What're the best and worst case scenarios?

Thanks for any contributions.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Pass issued to travelers is typically for one-time use, meaning you will need to reapply if your travel plans have changed due to a positive COVID-19 test. If you still plan to travel on the original dates, you may be able to use the same pass, but adjustments to your hotel booking and insurance may also be necessary. Having a recovery certificate can help avoid quarantine upon returning.

Thailand Pass is good for a specific date and time (with a little time before and after to use). If you are still planning on coming at the date your Thailand Pass is for, then you can use it. If you changed your plans because you tested positive, you will probably need to get a new Thailand Pass and make sure your hotel booking and insurance match up to the new dates.

so my Pass is still valid because my dates changed from 30th April to 4th of May. When I scan it's still valid. Thanks

Told my hotel already about the change.

To be on the safe side I'll prepare a negative test and a recovery certificate too.

they just updated the policy to let you use your Thailand Pass up to 7 days after the original date. So May 4th should be okay.

Make sure you let your hotel know and that your insurance covers you for your new dates.

Also you may want to get a certificate of recovery that could help you avoid going into 10 day isolation if your get a residual positive Covid test when you arrive.
