I have Non B multiple entry visa.

Every 90days I have to leave.

My next visa ran due on 7/April.

I like to avoid travel during this time.

So I called to Japanese embassy for issuing a letter.

They politely replied me,

“We don’t issue a letter for visa extension.”

Do I have only option of

7days extension for 1900thb

for the moment?

If you know update

Kindly let me know please.

Many thanks,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual inquires about options for extending their Non B multiple entry visa, which is due on April 7, 2020. They prefer to avoid travel and seek information regarding the possibility of a visa extension amidst a lack of support from the Japanese embassy, which does not issue letters for extension. The comments suggest that there are limited options available, including a possible 7-day extension for 1900 THB, and mention that requirements for a one-year extension should be verified with Thai Immigration.

and unless you meet the requirements to get an IN COUNTRY year extension from the immigration office you have no options open. At this time the Japanese consulate is NOT issuing the 30 day extension request letter due to being unable to travel because of covid-19.

All the immigration office will give you is a 7 day, application for extension denied stamp that gives you a week to leave thailand.

We know of no helpful answer as of today.

Watch for any changes in coming days and weeks. You are among many in Thailand who are in the same boat as you...so to speak.
