If an employer fails to cancel work permit on last day of visa. What are my options to change my extension of stay? Everything expires today. If I am screwed over by this school, and tomorrow I go on overstay, will I be free from the work permit and then be able to apply for covid extension or am I completely out of luck?

I'm going to shut this down.

1. It sounds like the school may be collecting paperwork to cancel the work permit.

At the school. I am trying to get it and try to see if I can force the issue. The office staff now says the director went to Chonburi today.

I was just informed that the director told the staff they can't process it today as it is still valid and they paid me for today.

Not exactly sure. I thought I only needed. Letter stating my last day and the work permit. But they had a large list. Also, they said it would require negotiations with the main officer to approve the cancelation today instead of making me wait 3-5 business days. I have been dealing with this ofr for a week.

Weird, normally you will get the paper showing you have submitted to cancel the work permit and this paper works for Visa extension.
