I applied for the DTV visa in Kuala Lumpur on September 3rd. Itโs been 3 weeks now and I havenโt received any updates yet. Two days after I applied, they requested some additional documents, which I uploaded the same day.
Should I be worried, or is this kind of waiting time normal?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

TLDR : Answer Summary

KL is the kind of embassy that i wouldn't be surprised if they asked for a personal support letter from the king. .... good luck ๐

Malaysia is the worst option in SEA to apply for DTV.
Don't be surprised if they come back with another document request, either for the same documents they requested last time, or something you already sent in with your original application.
Based on reports I've read, you get an average of 3 document requests, and over a month of waiting for a DTV if applying in Malaysia.
