Can I continue using online reporting for 90-day immigration when breaking the standard cycle in Thailand?

OK everyone. Hold onto your hats for this one because TIT it ain't.

This morning at 9 AM we accessed the Immigration Online Services screen with no problem. It's the first possible day of our eligibility to file for a new 90 day report application. In less than 5 minutes, both mine and my wife's were submitted. But that's not the amazing part.

In a holiday shortened week, I figured it's pointless to bother trying online but why not as long as it worked last time? To my astonishment, we actually RECEIVED AN EMAIL at 5:56 PM on the SAME DAY day telling us they've both been approved !! Sure enough, when we log back in, there's the new form ready for printing. Sometimes pigs fly.

So now that it's worked twice I have a question for Tod Daniels. We'll be leaving the country for the first time before our next 90 day report is due and thus will begin a different 90 day period on the day we re-enter Thailand. Do you think the using online reporting will be a problem once you break the standard 90 day cycle?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user successfully submitted their 90-day report applications for themselves and their spouse online and received approval within hours. They question whether using the online reporting system will still be feasible after they leave Thailand and re-enter, starting a new 90-day period. Responses suggest that online reporting should not be a problem, but caution is advised regarding the TM30 form, which may require a visit to the immigration office depending on local regulations.

remember to print the correct form. The one you want to keep in your passport is the "next appointment"

I'd imagine the 90 day reporting online won't be a problem but depending on your immigration office, you may have to visit them with the TM30 form when you return. A lot more offices are getting stricter on that. Mine used to tell me to just bring it with my next 90 Day Report but the last time they told me I had to come with it within 24 hours of landing in Thailand. This also depends on your living arrangement as it is really the landlords duty.

And don't forget to get your exit and re-entry stamp before you leave.

We have to go anyway right after getting home to update our TM30 so thanks for the advice. I will bring the old one with us. Our landlord is a dentist and we can’t expect him to go to immigration every time we want to travel out of country. As long as he gives us the necessary stuff beforehand like his identity card and house book that’s good enough for us
